Joshua Putz - Associate and Architectural Designer

 

Joshua began his career as a graphic designer, but inevitably gravitated towards architecture with both his uncle and father being architects.

 

After acquiring a BAS degree in 2007 from the university of KZN he moved to Cape town, working for practices such as SAOTA, SVA and KMMA. On the dissolution of KMMA, Joshua followed Henk and Riaan Marais to their new practice – Connect Architects.  

 

While working in the architectural industry Joshua realized that his previously acquired skills in graphic design proved very useful in the design concept phases and with a knack for software he naturally honed his skills in 3d visualisations.

 

Joshua is one of the key designers at Connect Architects and is fully involved in managing projects on site. He has recently co-designed and delivered one of our signature houses in Silverboom Kloof, Somerset West working closely alongside Henk Marais.
