30 Waterkant - Cape Town

30 Waterkant is a 5 storey CBD office building which was struggling to attract tenants until a redesign of the lobby, foyers and public spaces turned its fortunes around. The new and bold contemporary design introduced a strip of vibrant color (orange) that transfers its energy as a strong element on the illuminated entrance canopy. It is reinforced by its repetition in other carefully selected areas to furthermore bring renewed energy into the foyer and bathrooms. 

 

A combination of reflective and sophisticated surfaces, such as white glass, porcelain and granite as well good design with innovative design and detailing of the ceiling and wall elements has resulted in a chic urban presence. The building has enjoyed full tenancy post redesign, which is the most rewarding result of a successfully completed project.
