Marilu Joubert - Senior Professional Architect

 

Marilu is a registered professional architect with 10 years’ experience in the field.

 

She graduated from the University of the Free State with a Bachelor in Architectural Studies and completed her Honors and Masters degrees at the University of Pretoria.

 

Between her studies she went on a two-year working holiday to the UK, where she gained valuable international architectural experience and traveled extensively throughout Europe.

 

Back in Pretoria, her hometown, she was involved with various projects at different stages: residential, community upliftment projects, heritage refurbishments, secondary educational extensions and mixed-use and retail developments.

 

Marilu moved to Cape Town in January 2018 and has since then extended her knowledge and skills to high-end residential projects and multi-unit residential developments, focussing on detailed design and technical delivery.

 

Marilu’s main focus is building solid relationships with each role player that is part of the day-to-day process of architecture. It is her core belief that through clear communication and listening to clients, contractors and consultants, it is possible to deliver great projects on time and in budget.

 

Apart from practising architecture, she is a keen trail runner and yogi, loves camping and the outdoors.
