Century City, Cape Town

This 5700 m² Century City office complex was significantly re-imagined by KMMA. The intent was to move away from its outdated classical referenced architecture to a crisp modernist aesthetic. The main foyer was given a complete makeover with new porcelain tiles, dark mirrors and timber accents with a new contemporary glazed facade which allows light and views to permeate the building. One of the most fundamental changes was the introduction of larger window panels to the perimeter, allowing for more light infiltration and panoramic views from the office spaces, giving a new and modern look to the facades.
